This is Astro. He is a cute little dog, about 2.5 years old. Since he was picked up as a stray, we can't tell you much about his past, but in the time he has been with us, he's been a happy boy, he's been through an obedience class (and came out tops in his class!), and he has shown us how to give kisses with abandon. He has very long, soft hair...which he loves to have brushed.

Astro is very healthy, weighs about 53 pounds, and has been neutered, given rabies, Lyme and distemper vaccines, and has been wormed. He is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative. He is crate-trained and housebroken. He is not destructive in any way, but I wouldn't leave my lunch on a table and turn my back!

If you have a fenced yard, Astro loves to chase tennis balls and run with the other dogs in his foster home. He learns new games quickly and is a well behaved little guy that will make a wonderful family pet.
